| Does Induction Cooking require specific pots and pans? Yes.The bottom of the cookware must have some Iron Content.The best Way to determine whether a pan will work is with a magnet.If the magnet sticks to the bottom,the cookware will work on an Induction cook top.You can use steel,stainless Steel,Iron and coated vessels.Aluminium,copper,glass vessels will not work in induction cooker. Is Induction Cooking is faster than other types of surface cooking? Yes.Induction cooker is two times faster than cooking gas.It takes just two minutes to heat 1 litre of water.(25oc to 100oc ) How does Induction cooking differ from cooking with a gas or radiant cook tops? Induction differs from gas or radiant cook tops because there is no exposed coils,open flame or hot surface.If an element is turned on accidentaly,no heat is generated unless cookware 3-4 or greater in diameter is placed on the element.When cookware is removed from the element,the coil is de-energized and automatically turns off within 30 seconds. Why does the induction cooker give sound "Beep"? The E3 Induction cook top will give beep sound when cookware has been removed from the surface;Cookware is not present when the unit is turned on; Or Cookware is not centered on the element.It also give sound when there is unsuitable cookware.
